This was shared to Facebook and Twitter. The bake off, which was judged by Paul Hollywood and Nadiya Hussain, was held in aid of Sarcoma UK?! Would you ever believe it?
Sarcoma is such a rare cancer and with so few of us diagnosed, it’s very hard to raise awareness, gain funding for trials, gain support from big names etc. You feel lost in a huge tunnel with thousands of other causes, thinking that no one will ever hear about your cause and the big ones will always gain media and celebrity support. Small charities really struggle with this but Sarcoma UK has really excelled itself this week….!   

Seeing the Prime Minister share this via Facebook and Twitter is absolutely wonderful. GBBO is one of the biggest tv shows here in the UK and to secure Paul and Nadiya as the judges is unreal. 

I am so proud of Sarcoma UK for gaining such high profile support for this event. Hopefully people will look at what Sarcoma is and stop trolling David for ‘wasting his time’ at the bake off.

Well done Sarcoma UK and thank you to everyone who took part. If one persons life is saved, then it’s been worth it.
